Technicians supporting biology - 1st October - Remote - 10.00 to 13.00
Cost: £50
This course is for technicians supporting Biology in secondary schools.
Technicians supporting Chemistry - 8th October - Remote - 10.00 to 13.00
Cost: £50
This course is for technicians supporting Chemistry in secondary schools.
Technicians supporting Physics - 5th November - Remote - 10.00 to 13.00

Organising and Managing a Technical Service (or prep room) - 26th November - Remote - 10.00 to 13.00
Cost: £50
In this 3 hour course, we will explore, procedures and systems, security, maintenance and checks, time management and storage, to help with the organisation of your prep room to facilitate effective and efficient running.

All CLEAPSS Courses will run from 09.30 to 16.00 at St Clement Danes School, Chorleywood

Health & safety for Science technicians - 24th September
Develop a strong understanding of Health and Safety in your labs and your responsibilities as part of this.
Prep room management & H&S for senior Science technicians - 2nd October
Develop a strong understanding of Health and Safety and management in your labs and your responsibilities as part of this as a Senior Science Technician.
Health & safety management for heads of Science - 13th November
The main emphasis of this one-day course is on management issues and risk assessment. It is intended for Heads of Science, their deputies, heads of physics, chemistry and biology and those aspiring to such posts.
Health & Safety in practical Science for early career teachers - 16th December
As well as knowing how to work safely, new teachers also have to develop the skills needed to run a successful practical lesson. As part of the course we will consider what this means and offer suggestions and tips based on CLEAPSS advice and guidance.
