Secondary Science Technicians Conference
4th July at St Clement Danes School - 9.00 to 16.00
Cost: £100
Join us for this annual conference for science technicians which includes a full day of practical ideas and activities including keynote and workshop sessions throughout the day for biology, chemistry and physics.
Keynote speakers and workshops will be announced later in the year.

Technician Network Meeting - 10th December - St Clement Danes School - 13.00 to 15.30
Cost: FREE
The aim of the Network meeting is for Lab Technicians based in UK schools to keep up to date with the latest guidance and resources, to share tips on good practice and to provide support with curriculum development, in a friendly and informal environment.
KS4 Biology Practicals with Purpose (including key required practicals) - 14th January - Sandringham School - 09:30 to 15.30
Cost: £100
The aim of this course is to provide support for those who are delivering or supporting with the KS4 required practicals in Biology. During this hands-on day, we aim to go through key Biology practicals, discussing the challenges, common questions and common misconceptions. This course is ideal for technicians and for teachers who are teaching Biology for the first time.
KS4 Chemistry Required Practicals in a Day - for teachers and technicians - 22nd January - Dr Challoner's High School - 09:30 - 15:30

The aim of this course is to provide further support for those who are delivering or supporting with the KS4 required practicals in Chemistry. During this hands-on day, we aim to go through each required practical, discussing the key challenges, common questions and common misconceptions. This course is ideal for technicians and for teachers who are teaching Chemistry for the first time.
KS4 Physics Required Practicals in a Day - for teachers and technicians - 6th February - St Clement Danes School - 09:30 - 15:30

All CLEAPSS Courses will run from 09.30 to 16.00 at St Clement Danes School, Chorleywood

Health & Safety in practical Science for early career teachers - 16th December
As well as knowing how to work safely, new teachers also have to develop the skills needed to run a successful practical lesson. As part of the course we will consider what this means and offer suggestions and tips based on CLEAPSS advice and guidance.
Prep room management & H&S for senior Science technicians - 26th June
Develop a strong understanding of Health and Safety and management in your labs.
