This is a payment to enable your school to release you for the course, this can go towards supply cover or provisions. Look out for TRP in our course list below and contact us to book with one of these offers.

Engaging Primary Science

Primary Science for ECTs - 25th and 29th April 15.30-17.00 - Two session course - Remote - £100/150* - Info and booking

This course will provide you with a manageable approach to planning and teaching primary science. Expand the teaching tools at your fingertips and develop your confidence to plan and enable effective learning for children in your class. On this course you will explore the requirements of the primary science curriculum, improve your subject knowledge, plan exciting lessons and build your confidence in teaching practical science activities.

Getting Started with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) in science lessons  - 2nd May 15.45 to17.15 - Remote - FREE - Info and booking

A 90 minute virtual but practical session on Getting Started with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD). The course will focus on getting started with Tinkercad and SketchUp with us delivering 40 mins on each program, and how these can be used within Science & Computing.

Teaching EYFS science - 22nd May 15.00-16.00 and 23rd May 14.00 to16.00 - Two session course - Remote - £100/200* - Info and booking

This course will provide a manageable approach to planning and delivering EYFS science. Enter the classroom with the tools and confidence to plan and develop effective learning for children in your class.  You will explore ways of bringing the EYFS experience to life through practical ideas and discussion tasks.

Data logging – Using MicroBits in Science & Computing Lessons - 19th June - St Clement Danes School, Chorleywood- 13.00 to 16.00 - FREE COURSE (Free for state funded Schools in our Science (Bucks, West Herts & East Berks)  & Computing areas (Bucks, Oxon & Berkshire). - Info and booking 


This 'hands on' course will introduce you to the micro: bit a small micro-computer, which can be used to record data such as light, temperature and sound. You will learn how to use the device as a datalogger, how to view the stored data and how to use data handling software to represent it in tables, charts and graphs.

Raising Attainment in Primary Science - 9th July - 1 Day, FACE TO FACE - St Clement Danes School £200/400* - Info and booking

Where there has been a drop in attainment in science it is important to identify and evaluate possible causes and consider strategies for making good lessons outstanding. During this course you will make use of self-evaluation strategies to develop an understanding of the key issues relating to the raising of attainment in your school.
